I did several walks thru the yard today and yesterday and found many Monarch eggs and "just hatched" caterpillars...interesting there was nothing bigger...I did see the very old female trying to lay eggs yesterday on the common milkweed, the only thing left...A very fresh, huge male was patrolling the yard, chasing the swallowtails.
