Saw 3 monarchs today. 2 were in a field of tall grass on the edge of a woods. The third was on a country road and it as faded in color and had tattered wings.
Also found a tiny less than 1/2" caterpillar
On the underside of a milkweed. It's stripes were barely discernible.
