I actually had 3 male ruby throated hummingbirds that stayed all summer. They each had a feeder in different areas. About a week ago, 6-8 females showed up. They were all here together until today. I am no longer seeing my males at the feeders they were territorial about but had started sharing with some of the females. Females now have them. Most are very terrtitorial but I have seen them share. There is also one very young male in the group I can identify by the tail feathers. But I did see 2 ruby throated males late this afternoon finally. Not sure if same ones or different.
