A female ruby-throated hummingbird visited my red impatiens at the end of last summer. So this summer I planted some more. And about a week ago I put up a feeder. I've seen her at it twice and this afternoon I'm pretty sure I saw two hummingbirds flying away from it. So she has brought a friend or a mate (I couldn't catch the coloring) to feed!
