Lone Monarch feeding in the late afternoon on our Lantana. We have had virtually NO butterflies all summer, and I was very surprised to see this little Monarch. She looked basically healthy and was fresh, but was very small. I have Milkweed leaves in the yard and went out to look for possible caterpillars or Chrysalids, but nothing has been feeding on them.
