Hummingbirds first observed around home evening of 8/17. Adult male (ruby throat?) observed. At least one other hummingbird also observed, species unknown at this time. Current feeder set up - 1 by front door, 1 in back yard. Various flowering plants around yard, though heat limited flower production. From 8/17 through 8/21, hummers observed feeding primarily on front feeder, also one instance flame acanthia and hamelia. One territorial incident by ruby throat at feeder.
