At dusk yesterday there were 5 Ruby throats fighting over 4 feeders in my back yard...plently to go around of course but you know how these guys are. I have had a couple of ruby throats through out the summer this year as I kept my feeders filled and ready. Drought brought alot of birds to my yard this summer. I've kept fresh water, seed and syrup out and have had hummingbirds to a perigrin falcon and even a red tailed hawk who visits frequently sometimes drinking from the bird bath.
