A heavy rainstorm hit the WA coast Monday, Aug. 21st. We'd seen rufous at the feeder over the weekend, and one finally came up to the feeder in the late afternoon. We've been out in the yard a good deal since the storm, and we haven't seen/heard any hummers. We're sad that they've left, but glad that they stuck around longer than usual.
