From around 4 August, have had many more ruby-throated hummingbirds than one or two broods would account for. Thought we had only one pair before that, but perhaps two pairs. Today have about 20 to 25 birds doing acrobatics around five feeders. Wonderful sight. Perhaps five males, hard to count, and many are young birds.
