Normally I get only one hummer each summer. (I know the same one returns each year because it has an aberrant feather.) This summer I have multiples with different feeding styles: one hover-feeds, one sits and sips, and one sits up with a long neck. Then today I had 4 hummers battling it out for the one feeder, so I put out a second. None are adult males, but 3 could be juv males as there are dark feathers showing on their gorgets. One appears to be a female.
