There have been some monarchs sighted around my spruce trees, maybe a dozen or so but not like last year so far. I don"t know if they are roosting or just some hanging around. I've always had some every year, just not like last year. They stay in the shade of the spruce trees during the heat of the day.

There are some still around my trees, but only about 6. The numbers haven't increased.
