Both male and female ruby-throats have been feeding at our feeders all summer, but last week the air was full or diving and chasing hummers. This week there have not been as many.
Today I have seen both male and female hummers at the feeder but am not sure how many are actually around, so will say 2, although I'm guessing that's it's more.
The male hummingbird especially sits and takes his time drinking longer than usual.
