Our group of monarchs are not ready to fly yet. Currently we have 4 chrysalis and 7 very hungry caterpillars munching away on milkweed leaves. 5 of them have gone through the last skin-shedding, and are growing dramatically. One caterpillar at this stage will eat nearly 2 milkweed leaves a day.
Today I found one more monarch egg, which is not yet ready to hatch.
