This week I've seen an unusually high number of monarchs already migrating. Each day I've spotted them directional flying west. This is just so early, it's usually mid-September here. It makes me wonder why the change? We are in a drought and things are pretty dried up. I've released several this week and usually see them around the property for a few days. That hasn't been the case this year. I tag and release them and they're gone!
