Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/25/2011

Number: 5

We have 2 adult females and 3 young ruby-throated hummingbirds visiting our feeders and garden flowers One of the young birds; it has the grayer throat is a male. I also have glimpsed a very large hummingbird that chases away the others. My husband saw it briefly and he said it was very large too! I believe it could be more than a 1/2 larger than the ruby-throated ones! You really notice the size difference. I will hopefully see it again here!
