Saw another Female today at Gilroy Gardens, Gilroy CA. It may have been the same one I saw on wednesday. She has found a great milkweed supply and doesn't want to leave. The exciting news is that I also found a 1st. instar caterpillar. There are more I am sure because there are several of our milkweed plants with the tell tale tiny hole in the leaf. I looked for them but could not find them. I will check again when I go back on Monday.
