At 10:08 a.m. a juvenile male ruby throat ed hummingbird was drinking from our red fuchsia plant on our front deck. The young fellow whizzed by my right ear. I had been stretching after my morning walk. Last year my last sighting was 09/14/10 at 3:15 p.m.
