I have been concerned about the lack of monarchs and swallowtails in my yard this year. As always, we have milkweed, parsley, fennel, and lots of other flowers, but not many monarchs and swallowtails. Whenever I see an orange butterfly I go out to check it out, but it is always a Viceroy. We have other butterflies too, but no Monarchs. Perhaps with the migration, a few will come my way.
