Still finding Monarch caterpillars feeding on milkweed here in the yard and in the pasture (half a dozen). Also seeing adult Monarchs feeding on goldenrod (S. rigida and S. Canadense). Am finding some expired adult Monarchs, no knowledge as to why...? (found 2 today) No "physical" injury evident, perhaps they just expired after completing their cycle?
