Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/29/2011

Number: 4

Hurricane Irene passed through this area of New Jersey overnight with heavy winds and rain. I was delighted to see all four of our resident Ruby Throats "fighting" over the feeders all day today! It seemed as if they couldn't get enough and are busy fattening up for their migration south. We shall miss them, when they are gone.
