Good afternoon fellow birdwatchers:It's a beautiful day. We've had flooding, heat, humidity, and hail storms but,my garden has come through it all. This summer I've had house sparrows, downeys ,cardinals,robins,nut-hatches,doves,orioles,gold and house finches ,c.waxwings,catbirds,b.thrashers,bluebirds,chickadees,chipping sparrows,y.warblers, and hummers. There are 3 immature males,3 mature males and 3 females. One male was very friendly,he would drink from my hand, sit on my shoulder and follow me around the house. It was a fun experience. He's moved on now and others have taken his place.I also have numerous butterflies. There is a chrysalis(monarch)on one of my birdhouses. Good day to all!
