I work at the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster Colorado and we have done some very minor tagging over the last 7 years as we typically don't see a lot of monarchs, even though we have a small waystation and milkweed scattered throughout our gardens. I wanted to post this year because I thought it was notable that we have seen double (or maybe triple!) the numbers of monarchs showing up in August this year. Haven't seen any caterpillars yet, but we are hoping it will be a great tagging year!
