Monarchs have been visiting our butterfly garden and laying eggs on the tropical milkweed for the past two months. So far this season I have harvested close to 50 cats and raised them through pupation to adult in sanctuaries inside my house. Sunday I found a 4th in-star cat on a non-host plant near the milkweed and yesterday a cat was cruising my asphalt driveway. I know now to watch my step. They could be anywhere.
