I have raised several hundred monarchs again this summer, from eggs to butterflies. Didn't find my first eggs until July 6 (and they were up north on the shores of Lake Charlevoix), so I was worried.
Today 11 butterflies hatched and I have 6 chrysalises that will hatch in the next few days. Also, one newly formed chrysalis and 2 adult caterpillars. They may be my last for the season.
