Yesterday was tremendously hot and humid -- low 90's with a dewpoint making it feel like it was close to 100F -- we did not get anticipated showers overnight and it cooled considerably -- today temp was in low 80s, slightly overcast and breezy -- midday count was approx. 30 -- when checked again mid/late afternoon the count was still the same -- about 8-10 less than yesterday -- much more intense feeding, less playing -- not sure if it was due to temps or the instinct that soon they need to head south -- we are supposed to get showers again early evening -- so far nothing -- temps dropping a bit again tonight -- forecast for tomorrow is mid 70's, then Sunday/Monday upper 60's, Tues/Wed low to mid 70's -- after today and tomorrow's forecasted showers, sunny all next week. We'll see!
