A few in and out of sight all day. On Wednesday, 8/31, one female was stuck in the Oriole jelly. She may have been there all night. when I got to her she was nearly catatonic, no discernible heartbeat. I took her out and ran her under warm water in the bathroom. Her heart began to thrum again. Then I fed her sugar water from a small bowl and she stuck her tongue in and fed for several minutes. slowly she came around (still in my hand). when she began to struggle mightily, I opened my hand, she shook herself off and flew to a nearby bush. then she spun back to another feeder. I believe I have seen her every day since.
