Last evening as the sun was going down, I saw that the adult male is still here. His beautiful ruby throat was quite vivid in the rays from the setting sun. He is guarding the feeders from the other 2 hummingbirds. So much fun to watch them all chasing each other - they are really putting on a grand finale. With the much cooler weather forecast for next week, they may decide it is time to leave.
