I have been feeding hummingbirds for years and thought to contribute the fact that they are still here on September 3, 2011. There are I believe at least two families of hummingbirds leaving here since spring. I regularly have male and female hummingbirds come to the feeder through the summer and often there are three at a time, although a male hummingbird will often not let another hummingbird feed at the same time.
