2 monarchs were seen in the University of MN gardens by the agricultural college. They were tagged 23 and 35. They flew very close to the gardener there and he was surprised at how intent they were on feeding on nectar that they flew right next to him and stayed close by. That is all that was seen today. We visited the spot where we saw many monarchs a few days ago and there was no sign of them. Today has been quite cool, partly sunny and with some wind gusts.
