At 7:25 pm I watched from my 2nd story back window as one male and 2 female/juvenile hummingbirds were feeding at my neighbor's hummingbird feeders. The 2 females/juveniles would occasionally break off and fly over to my yard to nectar on trumpet creeper and coral honeysuckle blossoms. The male's throat flashed red once as he hovered in my neighbor's yard. I did not see any other throat flashes on the birds in my yard. I had been seeing female/juvenile hummers on and off in my yard from the first floor and now understand why they were coming from my neighbor's yard.
