have seen at 20-25 hummingbirds at my feeders at dusk and dawn then less numerous but steady in rest of day. we have been experimenting with different colored feeder sugar water 2 orange,2 blue 1 red 1 clear. they seem to have an attraction for a select type (each bird) one guards a blue one constantly throughout daylight. they disappear as dusk falls and bats come out,
