Monarchs were very rare in our area this year....Last year I had several caterpillars around 22 and this year retrieved only 4. Two of the 4 only survived to chrysalis stage and two of those infected. Gave one to a friend and the other emerged yesterday and
was released by our Grandchildren Leah & Zach. Our Male couldn't wait to take flight. A beautiful site indeed.
