Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 09/05/2011

Number: 5

I saw two male ruby throated hummingbirds. The color markings on their necks appeared different which is why I think there were two birds. Also, I think I have (and for awhile) a mama and a baby. These two fly around the yard and do not fight with each other like most hummingbirds. She has a large chest, chatters a lot, and her companion is smaller. Also, there is another female which is different in size than the mama and has been around the yard this summer, as well. Ophrah is the talker, Lulabelle is the delicate one, and Izzie is the baby. I think Ophrah is a returning bird from last summer.
