Observed 1, possibly 2, male monarchs today over a period of about 3 hours. We have 8-9 milk weed plants in the backyard near a fish pond. During the southern migration we usually get 6-8 visits per day. My hope is that many females will deposit eggs this season and that the red waps don't prey on too many.
