I have had a female at my feeder since June,2011. I think she found my feeder last year and returned-she only goes for a particular feeder so thats why I thought it was her. Mid August I started to see a small male-I think- at my feeder-he stayed through the"Irene" storm then I did not see him again. Not sure if he was one of her off spring or just another hummer but he was small. And he picked his own feeder too. Anyway my chuncky girl is still coming about every 10 minutes. It was just about this time last year that she left, so we will see
