Date: 09/05/2011

Number: 12

At 8:05 I saw a small female ruby-throat hummer going form the justicia, to the black and blue salvia, to the feeder. At 8:15 I observed a male ruby-throat perched on the stalk of a blackberry lily, which hangs very near the salvia. At 8:25 I observed a female ruby-throat feeding on the black and blue salvia.
At 3:10 I observed a female ruby-throat on the salvia, and at 1:30 I saw two males chasing each other all over the place, going from feeder to plants.
At 3:15 a male ruby-throat landed on the blackberry lily stalk. A female came near, and the male left his post and chased the female to the woods. At 3:20 a female ruby-throat came to plants on patio and feeder by back door. A male ruby-throat came and off they went
