RT hummers are coming in waves now: just before dawn and at dusk they are ALL at the feeders. I assume that they refuel, leave to hunt for insects, and then come back to the feeders intermittantly in smaller numbers. Many head south across the field, usually in pairs. It is much cooler this week: 70's/day, 40's/night, and very dry. Hummers take advantage of sprinklers throughout the day.
