Noticed a tinge of color on the mountainside & the tall weeds &
berry bushes at the edge of our woods are turning deep golden yellow, burnt orange and dark brown. We've had several flocks of flickers in our side yard for the past few weeks now, and last week, we had a fall-out consisting of Phoebes, scarlet tanagers, thrushes, cat birds, towhees, veery's oven birds, and various warblers! This happened last year in early November!
