Our program is located in a strip mall on the edge of town. We have weedy areas near the parking lot and have been searching for milkweed, catepillars and butterflies all week. Yesterday we found our first catepillar, a 5th instar specimen. This morning at 9:00, we saw one lone Monarch butterfly flying near a cluster of milkweed plants.
