A female hummingbird buzzed in this afternoon, and the hummingbird feeders had been taken down. So we put them back up! It has been over a week since we had seen a hummer, and there are many flowers in the garden, so we started fall clean up over Labor Day. It was cold enough yesterday to have a fire in the wood stove, and it had rained heavily for three days. The sun came out today, so maybe she came in following the front....it's feeling like fall is here.
