I have one male and two females for sure, out of two males and three females that visited this summer. I had at least two baby females and the second male may have been the first clutch. In both clutches the parents were unable or didn't try to drive them out after they fledged. Last week for the first time here I got to see three hummingbirds on one feeder at the same time, all female. I keep three feeders, each on a different side of the house, in hopes of keeping the birds here. I live at the edge of a river in a mixed deciduous woods. There are field crops interspersed with the woods and a large lake about 3 miles away.
