September monarchs have arrived in the Texas Hill Country!

Several reports have come to me from butterfly watchers in the Kerrville to San Antonio corridor. This morning we saw three monarchs at Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne, Texas.

Wand milkweed plants in the CNC prairie were browsed this week, so no seeds will be available from these plants. Wildlife is desperate for food in this drought.
