Warm and muggy this morning.
Saw a monarch fly by the veranda and rest in Lilac tree.
First monarch seen since mid August.

Last of cats made chrysalis about 20 minutes after the kids left the classroom for the long weekend. The kids saw The Butterfly King and were eager to make their own caterpillar cages out of recycled deli containers, bits of screen and wire.
