Midday Count: 20 monarchs feeding on liatris -- much more intense focus on feeding -- temps in low 80s, sunny, light breeze -- clearly we've peaked -- temps for the weekend are in mid to upper 80's -- dry -- if last year repeats, we should start seeing more faded, ragged butterflies from northern mn / canada soon....! Still a busy butterfly way station on a sunny urban boulevard in southwestern minnepolis!
