We have had five feeders out, rather than our usual three, since Aug. 1st when we began to be inundated with 20-25 hummingbirds. Last week we still had 15 to 20 and about five males. Today we have about 12-14 birds, and I could see only two males. I am using a syrup ratio of one cup sugar to 3 1/2 cups filtered water. They are all ruby-throats.
