Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/09/2011

Number: 810

Approximately 8-10 females-only group feeding intermittently. All appear to be travelers and seem to prefer to feed while hovering, rather than perching on the feeder. They are also easily spooked to flight unlike the group that spent the summer here. Might be a hysteria due to the absence of males to keep the harem in line.
