No adult monarchs seen this week (mostly rainy / overcast weather all week). I found 3 chrysalides hanging from my house siding (and one under the bottom rung of a ladder!) on 9/3/11. On 9/1/11, there were still eight 4-5cm long caterpillars feeding on tropical milkweed plants by house siding; none are feeding now. I hope to find more chrysalides in this area!
