After creating an inviting backyard flower garden we had at least SIX hummers feeding in the yard this season. Was delightful to watch them feed on flowers and feeders. AS they are so territorial we placed several feeders around.
TODAY, after several days of cooler temps and rainy days, and just when we thought they had gone, we saw THREE. The sun is out, the temperature is up and they're still here. At least three of them are. Will remove all but two feeders and see if the number changes. Fascinating birds!
