Saw two female rubies at my bird feeder. Quite surprised they were still here since the nights have been getting cold. They are fighting with the bees to get to the nectar. I hit the feeder with the garden hose to keep the bees at bay for a while. The females drink until sundown. They should be leaving very soon. Our weather forecast for the coming week is not the greatest. Cold and rain.
