Lately, as I walk home from work I have been seeing monarch butterflies lying on the ground, dead. I have experienced this three times the past week. I am curious about the reason for this. I hardly ever see these butterflies and now I have been seeing them dead. Could this be because of the extreme weather ( the excessive rain and hurricane)?
